These earrings were my mother’s. She was a flight attendant and in the mid to late ‘80’s and flew a route all the time to her favorite town, Taos, New Mexico. She flew there several times a month and visited the same boutiques and art galleries and she LOVED everything Southwestern. She got the earrings on one of those trips. She actually got several pairs. (See other listings for different styles)! Our home was decorated in Southwest art by Bev Doolittle and handmade peach and pale blue lamps! Ha ha! The ‘80’s... I know these were handmade and she wore them all the time but I don’t know who made them or where in Taos she got them. She died last year and they need a new home. I’ve kept sentimental family jewelry, but I had enough Southwestern stuff to last me a lifetime! Lol. I still have her Bev Doolittle’s. I can’t seem to part with those. She loved them so much. So these earrings need to be appreciated and worn again! Turquoise is December’s birthstone and I believe the image is one from the Zuni Indians. (Correct me if I’m wrong)!
