Selling this 414 I have owned and used for over 10 years. I have moved on to other Tascam Portastudio’s in more recent years. This one has sat in storage. Selling AS-IS due to the following issues: - Outer shell is missing the screws (stays closed unless it is physically opened). Some internal screws are also missing. No cassette cover (shown in photos). - Capstan occasionally drops down a bit which will cause it to stop rolling the tape through and can jam up the tape.. this can be fixed by lifting it back up and pushing the washer down to hold it in place. Should not operate this way & will require repair. - Rubber pinch roller appears to have some light cracks in it. (Possible cheap replacement on eBay) I did a quick run through on all other functions and it seems to be recording on all tracks still, however, AGAIN- please note that ultimately this one will need some love. Hopefully it can be brought back to top shape by someone.. or east bay audio repair. Comes with a power adapter.
