1940's Vintage Lap steel guitar Regal  with ' case . I'd be willing to wager that this is more late 1930s than 1940s and onward. This is a Regal-branded (and made) lap steel made from one piece of solid birch. It's got a standard 23" scale and a two-blade pickup that sounds good..Electronics and pickups work. It has wear from years of use. The tuning head pegs are missing. She is also dusty and it will need new string,present strings are rusty from age.I had it tested at a guitar shop.  Finish on guitar was made from rattle snake skin.(As i was told by guitar shop).  .
