SCC Butter Churn, large 8 qt This is an antique/vintage (1940) SCC Standard Churn Company of Wapakoneta, Ohio, glass 8 qt butter churn. In good condition. Rare 8 qt jar is marked SCC, it is tulip shaped, the base with ribbing along the four sides. Wooden handle and gear box are in working order. Would make a lovely display piece or use to actually make butter, paddle is in good shape, it would need a clean up before using. Overall measures 14-1/4" with 8x 8" base, jar is excellent. No chips or cracks Quite a substantial, handsome piece. Perfect for a farmhouse or retro kitchen.
