I wish I played steel strings, but I never have. This guitar new is $1600 (please research/google.) It’s never been played. The Historic Series offers authentic vintage style, paying close attention to the details of the most sought after pre-war instruments. The BR-163, built in the comfortable 000-sized body makes not only a truly enjoyable guitar to play, but the ultimate finger picking guitar in its price range. Crafted with a select solid spruce top, hand-carved X-bracing, choice solid rosewood back and sides, with herringbone top trim and a traditional dovetail neck joint. Blueridge is an offshoot of the South San Francisco-based Saga Musical Instrument Company. Blueridge specializes in "traditional" guitars that offer today's player vintage styling with modern performance at a level of quality and price that compares favorably to historic guitars. Each instrument is the result of detailed research and is carefully crafted at the Blueridge factory.
