The motor has 5 powered settings of assist and can go upto 32 mph on 5 Very powerful and fast, climbs hills like nothing. I used a front hub motor so if desired the front wheel can be exchanged for a regular wheel making it a fully functional mountain bike. Check out Ebikling dot com for the specs of the motor kit. It's the front hub 1200 watt kit. This bike is a great trail thrasher as well as an awesome commuter.
