Easy Setup to Synchronize with your TV (It uses sound): Puppy requires 3 “AA” batteries. Batteries not included. **Instructions on how to use: Insert batteries (Puppy's bottom area) and turn on. The button on the Puppy's tummy will flash. Set the Puppy between 3 and 9 feet from your TV's speakers. Insert the DVD and begin the movie. During the intro of the movie there is a sound being made that will alert the Puppy to sync up with the DVD. When synchronization is successful the Puppy's button will turn solid blue. If the Puppy does not sync up you may need to turn up your television's volume (you can turn it back down after syncing). If that does not work then the syncing sound may be altered by certain surround sound systems, simply turn off surround sound or play the DVD on another TV.
