Excellent sound, excellent real wood violin with bow, case, and shoulder rest. New E string. Great for kids ~8-10 years old -which is the perfect age to start violin lessons. It is important to have a good quality violin for beginners because that is when the ear is developing for the instrument. Quality also matters for a more pleasant, non-squeaky, warm sound -unlike those plastic ones that kids stop playing after just few lessons. Violin is 1/2 size and bow is 3/4. It was appraised at over $200, but we want it to go to a good home. So it is yours for just $90!
