Description

If you're looking at this you probably have an idea of what you're looking for since NAD isn't the most common in normal retail circles. I bought this for my mom to drive an old B&W bookshelf setup. Sadly she decided it looked too clunky, and I moved her to a DefTech soundbar. I briefly used it in my bedroom but wasn't really taking advantage of it and went to a simpler setup. It did do my M&K's justice in the theater room when I gave it a quick test. It's unfortunately been sitting since and would prefer to haves new home. It's 80wpc in stereo mode and 40wpc in surround mode. And this is not your big box cheap pioneer/Sony supposed 40w. The amp quality is definitely superior. What you gain in sound quality you lose in the fluff features most don't use anyway. This will make your bookshelf or smaller tower speakers sing. Has hdmi switching. Doesn't do 4k. Even the theater room receiver doesn't do 4k. Just not worth upgrading. I do use a slick little adapter that sends the 4k video to the display and the regular hdmi to the receiver for the best sound. Have a spare one if needed. Have the original box, original remote, and have the manual on CD around somewhere. They didn't do hard copy manuals. Can also download the pdf which is what's on the cd. No calibration mic. It never made it back from my mom's, and I was never able to find it. Though I always just ran the test tones around and adjusted based on what I heard. Specs are below. Any questions, let me know. And if you need any cables, let me know. Have quite a few.
