Description
Hi Offerup family! I am finally ready to pass on my trusty workstation to someone new. I bought this beast summer of 2015 brand new for $2500. I’m asking $500 cash. Not interested in trades. I will be including a BRAND NEW Rechargeable Stylus Pen to keep the screen fingerprint free, and an AC adaptor charger. It’s battery holds a decent 4.5 hour charge. The screen and body are FLAWLESS, not 1 mark. The colors are bright and the speakers are loud and clear. It has a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit. I bought this to edit my 4K videos from my GoPro and Lumix GH4 cameras and for school. I do a lot of Photoshop work, like photo realistic renderings, or drawing up sketches. This computer is great and fast. It remains fast even if I do run many other apps (music, web browser etc.) There are two for sale on Amazon for $700. The ones on ebay under $700 don’t have hard drives. I think $500 is a very fair price for what you are getting. I’d be happy to let you test it out. The user’s manual is available to download free from Dell online. Dell Precision M3800 15.6” Touch Screen 4th Gen Intel Core i7 4712HQ Quad Core 2.3GHz 16GB RAM SAMSUNG SSD PM841 258 GB mSATA 500 GB Hard Drive WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, one USB 2.0, three USB 3.0, Memory card reader SD 4.0 Two Graphics Intel 530 and NVIDIA Quadro M1000M w/HDMI Backlit Keyboard Measuring 14.65 x 10 x 0.71~0.31 inches, the Precision M3800 is the world's slimmest 15-inch mobile workstation. The M3800 pushes a 3840x2160 resolution, which equates to over 3 million more pixels than a MacBook Pro with Retina display, or a 59 percent bump. It also boasts up to twice as much storage space, longer battery life, and ISV certification, to point out a few of Dell's bragging points. One of the new additions to the M3800 is a Thunderbolt 2 port. This gives users access to transfer speeds of up to a theoretical 20Gbps. Real world speeds won't go quite as high, but it's still much faster than USB 3.0, and more importantly, Thunderbolt 2 allows for the simultaneous viewing/editing and backing up of raw 4K video. The Dell Precision M3800 is a mobile workstation made for serious architecture, graphics, scientific, and engineering tasks.
