Description
2006 Volkswagen Jetta TDI MKV 230k miles. 1.9L TDI BRM turbo (rare gem and NOT part of the VW diesel scam) 6 Spd DSG Transmission Leather, AC, Heated seats, Upgraded android stereo, ALL maintenance done. We are selling my son’s car because he needs a 4x4. This car was purchased from the original owner 3 years ago with 150k miles. They lived in Palo Alto and commuted to Oakland every day. Car was in excellent shape except for some wear on the driver seat, headliner sagging and some door dings. To ensure it would have no issues for my son we had all the preventative work done. It runs flawlessly and gets about 38mpg with mixed driving. We only ever had one issue at 220k with a wiring harness damaged by the fan which led to us replacing AC unit, Alternator, #4 injector, Injector harness, Radiator, and Fans (throwing parts are the problem did NOT pay off). After fixing the wiring it is now better than new :( At 160k: New camshafts (upgraded NICd cams and lifters) All filters and fluids changed Water pump and thermostat. At 180k: New wheel bearings, shocks, brakes, CV boots, Battery At 230k New flywheel ( it had the DSG rattle but all good now) All new filters and brake fluid and transmission fluid/filter I have owned 8 VWs/Audis and can tell you everything you want to know about these MkVs. The DSG transmission is amazing and is found in many high-performance cars. This car will outlast any toyota or honda. We change the oil every 5k miles and the fuel filter and air filter every 10k. The bads: Wheels are curbed (These are 18" wheels off a 2008 GTI) but tires are new The headliner is saggy. I have tried to glue/affix but looks rough. Driver seat has damage (the seat covers pop up on ebay now and then but i have not found a tan lower yet) When lights are turned on the dash shows error in "rear side lights". All lights work perfectly so i am not sure what the issue is. Dealer suggested it may be a ground wire but they could not see anything. Asking $3900. Title in hand. I included a TON of pics so you know what to expect if you come to test drive. No surprises, the car is exactly what you see. photos.app.goo.gl/e1AFyUQNRJ9hNepL7
