Spider Plants purify the air and are super-easy to grow. Great gift for the home, apartment, office, dorm or den. The Curly Bonnie Spider Plant has the traditional green with white stripe variegation of the ‘Vittatum’ but with uniquely attractive leaves that curl and swirl. It is characterized by its rounded and compact plant habit. Flowering stalks are yellow and plantlets are as curly or curlier than the parent. A slightly neglected or stressed plant will produce a curlier result than a well-nourished plant that will have straighter leaves. Spider Plants are easy to grow and require very little attention. Its common name comes from the "spidery" look of the baby plants it grows rapidly. The spider plant's trailing growth makes it perfect for hanging baskets. The spider plant is not only an attractive addition to your home it also removes airborne pollutants from the air. They will grow to about 1 foot tall with runners/stolons cascading down about 3 feet or more. CARE AND MAINTENANCE: -Light Medium to bright indirect light. -Watering Allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out before watering. A good way to tell when a Spider plant needs water is to look at the leaves. The green color in the leaves starts to fade when the soil is dry. Water high in salts and chemicals causes brown leaf tips. Never use water that had passed through a water softener; it ha too much salt. -Temperature 45°- 80°F. -Toxicity Non-toxic.
