Britains Civilian Toy Figures were instrumental in the development of the die-cast/hollow cast process. These beautiful, hand painted pieces range in age from the 1880’s to the 1950’s; the collection is over 670 pieces and is in great condition. Many of the figures are posable and their arms and torsos can be positioned in various stances. The selection of wagons can be articulated around the other pieces to create a beautiful diorama. The figures come in fixed scales to allow compatibility within the set. The ultimate authority on this collection is Arnold Rolak, who co-authored a comprehensive reference book that details the beauty, collectibility and value of these remarkable pieces.
