Lifepo4, OR lithium ion Also would work with LFP aka Lifepo4 Additional/optionally, I have a single as-is smart car fortwo 2018 electric battery module (31-cell), $$125 well, has some bad cells but should be likely able to make a good 48v or 72+ volt dc battery out of it which could easily be aprox 4kWh or more. Firm prices, not negotiable Specs of the Fortwo module when all cells are good: ~128v DC, 5.8kWh Note: these are pouch cells and deeply discharged, I’ve bought some back successfully, but disassembly to remove the bad cells will be a lot of work.
