I set it down once when slowing down too much for a sharp right turn without downshifting. When it fell, it broke off a piece of the brake handle and it was replaced with an OEM version instead. According to my mechanic, it is higher quality and should not do that in the future. There was one previous owner, and he said: “It has been set down in comical slow motion at stops, twice, but never dropped at speed. So the handle bar ends have little scratches.
