Seagull guitars are manufactured in Canada by its parent company Godin parents the company Simon & Patrick. This model seagull has a solid cedar top and solid cherry wood back and sides. It has a West African mahogany neck with an Indian rosewood fretboard. It has a tortoise shell pick guard and a fishman pickup and preamp amplification system. There's a fisherman preamp situated under the sound hole and the instrument cable jack is located separately from the strap pin. It has butterbean Rover tuning machines and tuning heads with a locking feature. The only modifications or work I put into this guitar include cleaning it with Martin brand guitar cleaner, tightening tuning machines and also securing soundhole preamp and I replace the strings with Ernie Ball paradigms which have a mixture of light gauge and medium gauge strings with the intent of gaining a brighter and richer sound while not affecting the feel or malleability of the strings. It is unique in that it can reach extraordinary volumes without amplification despite having such a small body similar to a blues or parlor guitar size. Every note rings as clear as a bell and it is a lot of fun to play.
