FitBikeCo Misfit 14. Making our MISFIT bikes properly proportioned for young riders has been a goal of ours for years and although they’re not obvious at first glance, little details like the crank length and 23/9 gear ratio make a big difference for riders. Small diameter handle grips and a short reach brake lever help keep young riders in control. Low tension U-brake springs and a linear brake cable make slowing down easier while a longer 200mm seat post allows for more adjustability. We have also switched from 19mm rear axle nuts to 17mm to allow riders to use smaller diameter pegs. A lot of small details making for one big improvement.
