This pool is equipped with fittings for compatibility with Flow-clear filter pumps. We upgraded to a large capacity pump and will include that but it randomly shut off on our last fill up. We didn't try trouble shooting at all so maybe it'll start right up but no guarantees. It's very simple to set up and to take down for off-season storage. No tools are required. A hose connects to the built-in flow control valve to drain away pool water quickly and easily when you are ready to take it back down. The steel frame is held together with Frame-Link System that gives strength by double connection. The protective connectors prevent damage from rust-causing metal-on-metal contact. The liner is made from an ultra-durable 3-layer material that is reinforced and puncture-resistant. (Dura-Plus is 15% more tear resistant, 33% more stretch resistant and 83% more puncture resistant than standard PVC)
