Description

This is an All-Steel Equipment Inc. tanker desk from the 1950s. The only picture of it I can find online is on the cover of an old catalog. This is a beautiful desk in amazing condition and has an unmistakable mid century look with unique arched steel legs. These are rare and highly sought after. If you look up the design patent in the last picture, you will discover it is attributed to Clarence Karstadt who was a famous designer. Karstadt designed radios as well and some of his radios are feautured in the Metropolitan museum of art in New York. This is a once in a lifetime find.
