Tested JVC HR-S6600U S-VHS VCR with original remote. Unit powers on and accepts tapes. Playback, fast-forward, rewind, and remote functions tested and working. During playback there is a visible noise/tracking band across the image. Tracking adjustments help but do not fully eliminate it. Likely needs cleaning, calibration, or service for perfect playback.
