Description
A beautifully restored, one-of-a-kind 2x12 Richtone combo by the famously notorious amp builder Rich Lovato in the 1990s. This 35 watt 2x12 blues/rock machine was designed & handmade by Rich Lovato out of Burbank, CA about 30 years ago. His amps are a rare find... a majority of the rare few he completed were for such famous acts as Pearl Jam, Lenny Kravitz, Pearl Jam, and Kid Ramos, to name a few. At some point, his life seemed to unravel along with a large backlog of amp orders never completed as a result. The Richtone name is now owned and used by a completely different Canadian-based company that bought up his extra logos many moons ago. Three knob tube reverb circuit, a-la at the Fender Vibroking. Switchable GZ34/5Y3 dual tube rectifier. Fat boost. Full power/Half power switch. Two custom voiced Eminence 12"speakers that scream the blues. Four EL84s driving it all in the power section. The original forest green tolex with white drip-edge is in beautiful condition for such an old amplifier. The grill cloth has been replaced with a classy black-and-tan British-style speaker cloth from Mojotone, with custom brown vintage-style chicken head knobs and a brand-new stitched brown leather handle to set it off. This amp looks as beautiful as it sounds.... Singing, howling Bassman, Vox and Marshall tones are all here. Glorious handwired point-to-point tube heaven with top notch transformers, tube and components. $2000
