1972 Martin D28 Accoustic Guitar

One of the best accoustics ever made. This one is not in great shape, hence the price. Repairable cracking on body side as well as some cracking on the face, all along the grooves of the wood which makes repair easier. The bridge needs a proper reglue since they were installed incorrectly at the factory due to aging equipment. The neck is in nice shape with no warping. The original pick guard has began to degrade and was removed, I have a brand new NOS pick guard from Martin that needs to be installed. I talked to a luthier and was quoted about 900-1000 for all repairs. Although if you are a luthier yourself, or have a buddy who is one who will give you a great deal you can have yourself the cheapest original Martin d28 to be found, the case alone goes for 400$ online.
