Description

boat type: powerboat propulsion type: power condition: like new length overall (LOA): 12 I built this last summer with plans from Glen-L. It's the 12' version of the Bullet. This was not my first build. It was built with all 1088 Marine Ply Indonesian Mahogany plywood and all Douglas Fir framing. The hull bottom is fiberglassed from chine to chine. It is a very safe stable boat and would great for youngsters. It tops out 30mph with my 260lb self in it. 30mph in a boat this small seems more like 50mph. I've had it out in the Willamette 15-20 times. It comes with a trailer that is well-matched to it. The hull is less than 200lbs and is easy to move around by hand. Boat/motor/trailer weighs around 800 lbs and can be towed with anything you find a trailer hitch for. It comes with two motors. The 1976 Evinrude 35hp is mounted and runs good. It also comes with a 1977 Evinrude 35hp which is a 99% complete running engine. It's just missing a carb linkage. Both have had the carbs rebuilt and impeller changed. You could keep it as a backup, parts engine, or just sell it. Also comes with 3 props. It has a phone holder(for GPS speed app and videoing) as well as a digital tachometer. It has a fuse block up front if you want to add more gauges or horn or ? It just has front and rear lighting right now. The seat board is drilled so you easily swap the double seating for single center seat. Seating is adjustable forward to back. Also, the steering can be center mounted(pre-drilled) if preferred. There is also room in the back for a dog or child. It's turn-key complete and ready to "roll". I have sent in the registration paperwork to the OSMB and should have it promptly. Registering home-builts in Oregon is super easy. Just send in a few photos and papers and a check. I was hoping the boat would be faster, but it's just 35hp. So I built a 50hp Tunnel Hull race boat that goes over 50mph.(See final photo) I did try that 50hp on this Bullet initially and got 40mph before building the tunnel hull. Selling for $2000 which is less $$ than what I have into it. Not to mention the more than 200 hours. ;) If you don't need the spare motor, then it's $1700. Or with no motor it's $1400 Possible trade or part trade
