Very old possible 17th-19th century Chinese apothecary cabinet. 42 narrow three sectioned drawers and three wider bottom drawers. Traditional fire treated and sealed wood. Skillfully handmade using traditional methods of furniture construction and finishing. Still has remnants from the original herb drawer labels written in Chinese calligraphy on each drawer. Also present is the import seal from Asia. Needs some restoration to sure up all joints and to align all the rails for the drawers as many have been taken or have fallen out and they are all meant to fit in only one specific slot. (A bit of a torturous jig saw) All or most of the rails are accounted for and will be supplied to the new owner in a separate bag. This is an original very antique cabinet and wear and tear such as blemishes marks cracks scuffs chips and damage to the finish is to be expected (how would you look after 2-300 years of being used for storage?) 17.5”x34”x29.80”
