It has easy to use cast iron hardware and is adjustable in height and pitch. The pine top and oak base on this piece have a nicely aged patina. If I didn’t respect the integrity of antique’s value of the original finish and maker’s mark adding to the value, I personally would stain it a gorgeous dark walnut color and add a really funky metal industrial style stool and lamp. This Anco Bilt drafting table is in overall Excellent original finished condition. It has normal use wear and tear. The drafting table part has cutting marks from decades of use. The original maker’s stamp / logo is present. It consists of a quality wooden tabletop with adjustable legs, and cast iron levers and plastic knobs to adjust height and tabletop from horizontal to vertical. This table is sturdy and in overall excellent condition besides the age-related wear, which gives it character, as it is an industrial piece. It would make a great standing or seated desk and because of its height and size it could also be used as a really cool kitchen table, island or bar table.
