1946 Ford Woody Wagon

1946 Ford Woody Wagon, This was a project My Grandfather and I started 3 years ago. Along with a company In the city of Orange, They were supposed to build us a brand new wood kit for the Wagon and we would take care of the rest of the restoration. They started the project building new wood and everything was looking great! We would check up on the build every other week or so to see the progress and the first year things were looking great, They built a new roof A-pillars Doors it looked like it was coming together. Later on they told us they had to put our project to the side for some projects they need to finish for other clients, We did not think much of it and told them to finish when they could no rush. Big mistake on our part. After a year of no progress they told us they were going to retire and move to Oregon and to pick up our car. As disappointed as we were we went to pick up the car at their shop and everything was gone! They already moved out of state changed their phone numbers, And we saw our wagon completely gutted of all the work we paid them to do. so unfortunately we have to cut our losses and get rid of the car. There are still a lot of positives things about the car has been in california for a long time so there is very little rust. the floor of the car was sandblasted and primed. It was also modified to fit a 289 or any small block ford Engine. The car has a 289 engine and a c6 automatic trans. It also has a completely heavy duty reinforced frame as well as a Ford 8.8 rear end with dual rear leaf springs, The car originally had only one rear leaf spring. They left us with tons of spare parts for woodys, wood window trim ect. everything you see in the pictures is included. Let me know if you have any questions Thank you!
