Tulip Genuine Marble Dining Table This mid century modern look for your breakfast nook, dining room, or even as a table in a guest room. It’s similar to the Knoll Saarinen tulip dining table originally designed in the mid 1950s. There is no indication of brand name on the base anywhere that I can find. If it’s not a real Knoll, it’s an expensive premium reproduction. Similar to Knoll version there are no seems. Heavy sturdy base. Height of the table is 29”. It originally came with a laminate top that was replaced with an upgraded 38” white Carrara-like real marble top. 1.25” thick. Beveled edge. The top was glued to the table. Then separated for safe storage during a move. Now it rests on the original base yet. I suggest gluing it when it reaches its new home. The marble is mostly white with grey marbling and a slight copper/beige veining. Tulip base is 22” diameter at base, 18.5” at the top. 4 screw holes on the top leftover from the old top. Marble is in Mint condition. The base is amazing too. One small tiny chip at the very bottom of the base, barely noticeable. See photo with pen pointing to it. Base has felt on the bottom. It's quite stable without glueing it down. I suggest glueing it in the new home for safety and peace of mind. Chairs not included. Pick up only In Sharon township area near Copley and Wadsworth Ohio.
