Asrock Intel C2750 Itx Server Motherboard

Used Asrock Intel atom c2750d4i motherboard. Atom Avotom 8 core cpu is part of the board. Dual Intel nics and another for accessing remote management. It’s a little older but I’ve been running it as a virtual machine host for years. The Intel avotom series has a known issue where over time some voltages on the board get bad. A bios update fixed it down the road, but boards that got the issue over time had to be repaired even with the bios update. This board was affected by the issue and out of warranty when it finally happened. Luckily there is a diy fix for it involving making a voltage divider with two resistors to make sure the right voltage is available for +3v on the board. I’ve included a picture of the resistors used. It’s not the prettiest thing but works fine. That’s a lot of time to say there is a diy fix for a known issue with this board installed. However, it’s been running great ever since. About 2.5 years of 24/7 without any issues after doing the fix. It’s a good board with tons of life left in it. Great for building an energy efficient home lab server.
