1988 Lotus Esprit Commemorative Edition 2.2L 4cyl Turbo 215hp, 5 Speed Manual, Only 44K Original Miles #17 of only 88 made. The Commemorative Edition was an extra $7000 in 1988 and for that you got the rear wing, tubular rear, special rear valance, Pearl White paint with color matched wheels, blue Connolly leather with grey suede inserts and upgraded stereo. This is just an awesome car. I have had a 1983 Mondial and a 1986 Ferrari 328 and to be honest, as much as I loved those cars, it would be hard to pick them over this for such a price difference. Runs and drives extremely wheel, everything is in good working order. Only flaws I found were the radio doesn't put out any music but works and the gas gauge is not accurate. The car has been repainted but it was a very high quality respray and probably well needed. The original paint would have yellowed by now. Looks to be that the wheels were done too. The wheels have new Michelin Pilots all around. We also just rebuilt the headlight motors with a metal gear so they should be good forever now. All buttons work, AC is cold, found no leaks or mechanical concerns.
