Description

This Samsung washer and dryer set were given to me by a family member when they decided to move out into a new place. The Dryer works perfectly fine; outside of a few exterior cosmetic issues like dents and scratches, it is virtually in perfect shape. The washer, however, has a problem that I feel is no longer worth trying to deal with. I looked it up on YouTube, and you can as well type in “The only way to truly clean your washing machine.” In short, it's an issue where your washer becomes extremely dirty because of the detergent or fabric cleaner you use and going long periods without taking the washer through a self-cleaning cycle. They call the tainted particles that show up in the washer “scrud.” At this point, I choose to move on because no matter how many self-clean cycles I've put it through, there are still tiny gray particles that show in the bottom of the washer tub after each process. This washer also has a current recall, but I recently had the Samsung technicians fix it for free. Unfortunately, they explained they couldn't do anything about the dirty particles that show up at the bottom of the washer tub because it was the fault of the previous owner having very little care for the machine. There is a way you can remedy the issue, and I'll be glad to explain the process, but as I've said, I don't believe it's worth it for me at this point. I want to sell this washer and dryer before I ultimately decide to trash them both. You can have the set as a package deal only; I need it out of my way for my new apartment; thanks!
