Description
Kettle is 6 inches to top of handle, 8 inches from spout to end of it. The following info is off the internet: The kettle shown is the Iwatemo HK kettle, a black cast iron kettle that combines Finnish design with Japanese craftsmanship. It was designed by Finnish designer Harri Koskinen and is made in the Iwate region of Japan, an area known for producing ironware for centuries. The kettle is a type of Nanbu ironware, which is a traditional craft from Morioka and Oshu cities in Japan. Nanbu ironware is known for its durability, heat retention, and a coarse texture called "arare". Using a cast iron kettle is believed to enrich the water with iron and give tea a smoother, less bitter taste. Queen Creek and Power Rds, Gilbert
