And these effects- are on a huge touch screen, that was recently replaced. It is very easy to use and understand. With a few features that have a moderate to heavy learning curve. It has so Many different parameters and the sound quality - wow. There pretty much is no distortion which means less blown speakers and less fried amps. Even has beat repeats and cuts like 1/2 1/4 1/8 etc…. I haven’t seen a mixer better than this one except a couple battle mixers out there these days. More effects, easier to read and use parameters, easy to scroll through effects and so many other great adventures. You can even mix with the onscreen cross fader instead of the physical industry leading one below it. It also gives you I think five different video curves - yes. It has different types of video effects for managing the type of mixing you do. From slice to swipe. Others of course. It even has video channel mixing by the actual volume and position of your channels slider. Instead of pressing this button or sliding a switch, you just press the word or picture on the screen. And you DO NOT have to use video dj gear. It has everything you need if you don’t have anything. Any cd player? Sure. Technics tables? Sure and wow nice sound. Channeled Effect pads? Sure. VCR’s? Sure. If it has rca outs - it uses it. The DVJ - X1 is the pioneer in Video DJ Gear. And this was the Pioneer of Mixers. Still to this day, the new mixers of today are still playing catch up! This Video Mixer Was Created By Many Professionals of The industry to put the best effects into the best mixer ever made. In my opinion- it’s by far still the best out there.
