NordicTrack 2500R Treadmill. This treadmill comes with a flexible walking platform which makes it much more comfortable to walk on at any speed. The flex deck gives as you walk or run making your exercise routine more enjoyable...not so hard on your joints. The 2500 R combines advanced technology with an innovative design to help you get the most from your workouts in the convenience of your home. When you are not exercising the unique 2500 R can be folded up, and rolled away requiring less than half the floor space of other treadmills. There is space on the controll desk for hand weights, a book holder and a water bottle. There are two hand rails and added hand bar for when you need to hold on, a heart rate and pulse monitor and a key to turn it on and off or if you should fall off causing the belt to stop. When console is in manual mode, the speed and incline of the treadmill can be changed with a touch of a button. As you exercise, the console provides continuous feedback about your exercise elements like segment time, distance, heart rate, speed, pace, calories, incline, time and laps. The track inclines in .5% increments up to 10%. There are both manual modes and preprogramed modes with three preset programs (mountain trail, gorge trail and canyon run) that automatically controls the speed and incline of the treadmill giving you and effective workout...you can even create two of your own workout programs and store them for future use. There are inputs for your own weight and age to help adjust your workout routine. Once you start your workout the LED panel lights up and displays a track and lights up in sequence until you have walked or run each 1/4 mile. The roller/pully and motor belt have been replaced which means the major moving parts are in excellent working order. When deck is folded it is 30in from wall and 37 in wide.
