Description

Awesome vintage right paw up Maneki Neko “Lucky Cat” bank with Daruma. Made in porcelain and hand painted by Kato Kogei, Japan. Excellent condition with some light crazing, bottom paper covering the opening has been punched through. No chips cracks or repairs. Colors bright, this figurine signifies prosperity, good fortune and goal setting. The cat is holding the Daruma and has a gold coin in front. When you have achieved your set goal, you color in the blank eye of the Daruma. Stamped KK near tail. Approx 4.5” tall by 4” wide. Pick up S Charlotte/Ballantyne.
