The 1930s is the time of the end of the depression amd beginning of WWII as well as the end of the STANDING LIBERTY SILVER QUARTER AND THE BEGINNING OF THE WASHINGTON QUARTER. THE 1930S DECADE IS THE MOST VALUABLE DECADE OF THIS COIN'S EXISTENCE. PARTICULARLY THE 1936D WHICH IS THE MOST RARE AND sought after of the Washington Quarters. Even in poor condition its worth $55 but in MS or Mint State condition is valued at $1,000 and above. Some sites list these 1930s quarters at 6 or 7 dollars but I do not know of any dealer who would let even a poor condition coin go at that rate. This is a great addition to any collection and it's also a BONUS that it is minted in Denver since D mintmarks ate slightly rarer and a bit more valuable than those minted at Phillidelphia without a mintmark ( P).
