Description

For sale a pair of Pioneer CS-A700 vintage stereo speakers. 12" woofer and 5"midrange (cones are FB type---wood pulp and wool---Pioneer calls it freebeating system). Tweeter is a multicellular horn type. Input 60W peak, 8 ohm. These speakers can be used with an external crossover (has low, mid, high inputs). Also has front controls for low and high fine tuning. 15"x26"x12.5" deep, 42# each bare. The overall condition is excellent. The oiled walnut cabinets are in near mint condition with only one very minor imperfection. The grills, curtain type fabric, drivers, and controls are excellent. These speakers are fully finished behind the grills and are very attractive in use without grills in place. They sound great (all drivers work) and look even better. These are one of the best looking speakers I have seen.
