Description

For sale is a vintage 1980 Yamaha G-231 Classical guitar with chipboard case. It is in near-mint condition. It also comes with a tuner and a couple of instructional books and cd's. According to the serial number, this guitar just celebrated its 41st birthday. A couple of superficial scratches below the soundhole I can't even get to show up on camera. The guitar has been set up and has new strings which are still stretching. Cedar top and mahogany sides. It sounds fantastic and it shows why older Yamaha's have such a good reputation. The neck is chunky for a classical but still very comfortable to play. Stand not included. Cash only, no trades. Lowball offers will be ignored. More pictures available by request.
