This is a all in one unit. I really like it, but it's not really working with my needs for a family and how much laundry we need to do. These are different than your traditional washer and dryer. I put a load in and leave it- few hours all done! Please do your research. I don't have the pedestal just the unit but I found it to dry fine. I've read they can dry even faster if they are raised up. Such a great space saver! Used for roughly 1 year. I bought a 5 year warranty with but don't think that is transferable. The unit itself is in perfect shape but it does have lots of scratches on the top from items being set on them.
