I am selling my Newport 30 sailboat, I’m moving and need to get rid of it. I used this boat as a place to live in Los Angeles, nobody cares if you live aboard and the slip fee is 532. The engine is the original diesel, rebuilt but not running at the moment. Here is a list of what it will need: Maritime descaler thermostat About 7 12 ft wires Tighten rear motor mount 7/8ths hose we can arrange for you to keep the boat in it’s current slip but you will need to apply. The boat is in a nice location in Marina Del Rey near the beach and Washington strip. Jib is from a smaller vessel and needs to be replaced. Bottom could use paint but I keep her cleaned twice a month so no damage. I have an old soft bottom tender I’ll include along with the 2 stroke motor, it runs but it’s missing the gas cap and the throttle sticks at high rpm. I’m also including a kayak which only needs a new seat. I’ve had to lower the price a lot, I don’t want any “tire kickers” or lowballers!! I’ve already explained that it doesn’t run at the moment and I’m not a diesel mechanic so I can’t answer many questions in this respect. The price is absurdly low for a SOLID sea worthy sailing vessel. Only interested in serious buyers with cash in hand who want it NOW.
