Its 3 times faster than routers provided by comcast or Frontier etc.. I used it for my Xbox and PC gaming needs because of the speed it offers even while we had phones, tablets and laptops connected for homework and other needs. You connect it to your existing home Internet wirelessly... or plug it directly into your existing Xfinity router and it will dramatically increase signal speed and distance available. You can use up to 4 Ethernet jacks for connecting devices directly with ethernet cables (provided) It also has USB port for other streaming devices to connect directly. Dual Band Allows several devices to connect to either band depending on its wireless needs... this means it never gets bogged down & slow like other routers do over time. So weather you need it for speed, distance in a large home, or just have a lot of devices needing wifi... this router is for you!
