Effectively new since it was only opened once to mount to the British Military Sankey narrow track trailer, this tent has otherwise never been used. Original price was $5,000 for the tent, an additional $1,000 for the optional sunroom walls for the canopy (not shown in pics) plus tax and shipping from British Columbia. The tent is mounted to a circa 1970's Sankey Trailer which outside of the missing brake lever is in excellent condition for its vintage. This unit was used in the dry Middle East during Desert Storm and was brought to the Southwest by a serviceman who loved it so much. Spent its time in arrid conditions and avoided the rot that plagues most of these units. An extra set of military issue rims will accompany the trailer. I switched to Land Rover steel rims and mounted brand new LT all terrains for durability and to get the correct height for the tent to fold down properly. The tent has removable floor boards above the trailer to access trailer storage. The tent itself is nothing like a rooftop tent (which I've also owned). This tent is designed for Australian outback service and is made from a canvas blend so no cheap tent here. It is heavy (around 400lbs total), durable, and well built. The main bed area suits a queen sized air mattress or memory foam mattress. The living area is big enough for two cots comfortably or better yet, one or two sets of Disc-O-Beds. The "porch" canopy is attached to the main area and can be an open porch style or enclosed with the surround wall kit. At that point it almost doubles the square footage of the tent and can be used as an additional sleeping area or dining room or storage. Trailer will include a pintle hitch if you need one since the trailer has a lunette. Any questions, feel free to ask.
