The color is called gunmetal and its like a shimmery silver accent on a darker gray. Thats the best I can think of as the shine and shimmer is when you move or as the material bends. It fits to your body which means it will fit a decent range of bodies all within the XS size. A littler wider here + thinner there and the dress clings to fit BUT it is a gathered/bunched design which hides little things such as a bit extra here or a small roll there....you cant see it. The dress shows your outline, not your skin surface. The bottom tapers into a small opening which will always fit tight around your legs. You can see the outline in the dress on the plastic mannequin form as it gathers in small as soon as the plastic ends. MEASUREMENTS dont really work for this type of dress. On a hanger, the top mid shoulder to the bottom edge is about 34 inches but when the dress is stretching out to fit, it can be a bit shorter. Just know it is USUALLY just above the knee. Width from seam to seam at the armpit is useless as laid flat it is 12 inches. That stretches 3 inches plus in use. If you normally wear size XS or 0 or even if you can wear some smalls this should fit as long as you have a slim build. Larger busts only work if you are definitely XS only so there is room.
