This is a live edge slab of Himalayan Cedar (deodar cedar) for sale. The slab was sanded down multiple times and had epoxy resin added to fill the voids. After curing, it was sanded down again and cleaned. Pentrating epoxy was then added to protect the wood but also bring out the beautiful grain and coloring of the cedar wood. After drying, 4 coats of exterior polyurethane was added to protect the surface even more. Then finally a wood polisher and conditioner was applied to give it a nice satin and even finish. Black hairpin legs were added and it is ready for a new home.
