For use with Rheem Hybrid Heat pump/Electric water heaters. Perfect solution for pulling hot air from your attic or crawl space to feed the heat pump and maximize efficiency. Feel free to look them up on Home Depot. Why only 3 stars for this item on their website? Because they want over $120 plus tax for this plastic intake! It works fine, is fine for quality, but people are pissed about having to spend so much. Well, now you don't have to since I got both the inlet and exhaust and only ended up using the exhaust and the return period lapsed. I kind of nerd out on these water heaters too, if you want to pick my brain about installation, want to see how mine is hooked up, links to recommended parts, etc. The advice alone might frankly be worth more than the part, ha!
