I’ve had this Pet Grass Kit sitting in a dry location for about 2-3 months before adding any water with the seeds still in the soil. They can sit up to 2-3 years if stored properly! Once you add water the growing process begins! Each kit has a generous amount of seeds in there along with worm castings for extra nutrition for the grass (keeps grass alive longer). To start the kit, lightly agitate the surface and water generously for the first 2-3 days during the germination period. Once germinated, watering can be done when the soil dries up.
