Great lot of real, authentic Sterling silver flatware. I believe this was made in the 1950s, but it could be older. Total weight on the Sterling is 1,316 grams, but that excludes the knives which have Sterling handles but stainless steel blades. I would estimate that each knife contains at least 20 grams of sterling silver. With 8 knives at a 160 gram estimate, that brings the approximate total to around 1476 grams. At .925 pure, that's 1365 grams net weight. 1365 grams is 43.90 troy ounces. I am selling the entire lot at Silver spot + $3.00/oz, which is currently about $45/ozt, which puts the price at $1975 for everything. Since I am selling it barely above melt value, the price is firm. If silver increases my price increases.
