Works great, we just don't use it anymore. Got it when we were potty training a puppy and he knows so its just left sitting around. The gate closes by pressure between two walls and doesn't budge. Door automatically closes and there are seven pieces of different length so it can be used any space between 30" and 108" (9ft). The gate is 32" tall so it can be used to keep small kids away from certain areas too . There are also little cups to attach to the wall and protect from future damage. Amazon charges 169 for it but since it's used, I'm asking half of that
