Description

For sale: This is a vintage 1960’s “Royal Ace” 5.5”x14” 8 lug snare drum. Overall in exceptionally clean and original condition. The green sparkle wrap has considerably faded over the years; still tight, however a slight separation at the seem (mostly under a lug). Original hardware still shines but overall has very light pitting throughout. Original die cast hoops and slotted tension rods are all present. It’s parallel strainer/throw off and internal tone control/muffler both work properly and smoothly as they should. Equipped with new made to match custom snare wires. Also fitted with a new Remo coated Ambassador batter head and a (used but in excellent condition) clear Ambassador “snare side” resonant head. A great addition to your vintage Premier kit, to add to your snare collection or to simply use and enjoy. This drum is ready to play! Asking price: $320 cash, Venmo, PayPal or Zelle
