The Stadic is one of the high end spinning reels Shimano makes. I fish bass tournaments all the time and Shimano is by far my #1 choice. This Shimano Stradic 1000FH is a great reel, only down side is that you can see its missing the spool which u can get for $15-$35 depending if you want new or used. It's low price is reflected on the fact that I'm missing the spool and I'm clearing out the boat for the upcoming season. My loss is your gain. Hard to find this beloved model, all are the huge 4000 models.
