Description
Hey All, Bought this for simracing, but sadly due to my eyesight disabilities, I can't use it. I'm a middle age bachelor that's overly meticulous, and I take insanely good care of everything I own. This setup was rarely, and I do mean rarely, used. It's truly like new condition. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. The base stations were wall mounted on day one and haven't moved since. Controllers were rarely used (since I was using my wheel/pedals instead). Here's what you'll get... VALVE INDEX SYSTEM (headset w/ two base stations) : pretty standard here, everything from original box included. + Extras: I. SIGNAL BOOSTER by Startech ($100) https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/ This allows you to properly boost your vr cable signal when coupled with a fiber optic 1.4 displayport cable (which you'll get with my kit) up to 65 feet. 65! I used a 2m cable with mine. If you don't use one of these and you attempt with a cheap cable and signal booster, it won't work at all with the Index. You'll need one of these. II. CHILLDEX ($40) https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/ fan that plugs into the front of the headset via usb that keeps your face cool and comfy while playing. III. Custom XL CONTROLLER GRIPS ($40) if you have large hands, these are so damn comfortable and necessary to have in my book. It makes gripping the controllers 100x better. IV. KIWI CEILING MOUNTING SYSTEM ($25) https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/ info removed)(contact info removed) a cable system that mounts on the ceiling. It's super quiet and works perfectly. V. VRCOVER Index Headset Silicone Replacement ($14) https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/ makes the face gasket much more comfortable VI. VRCOVER Index Cotton Cover ($20) https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/ cotton cover for the straps on the Index, which allows you to keep the original straps clean as new and you wash/clean these instead. VII. VRCOVER Index Headset Foam Replacement Set ($40) https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/ Fully replaces the original face gasket, and gives you a magnetic facial interface, two memory foam replacements – Standard and Comfort. VIII. Original Valve Index Face Gasket IX. VRCover Index Cotton Cover (Same as VI) X. Case for VRCover items XI. FIBER OPTIC CABLE EXTENSTION : Displayport 1.4 : 2m/6'6" (Not pictured in first layout photo) ($80): https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/ : I used mine along with the Startech signal booster. If you use the cheap $20ish cable with the Index the signal won't boost properly. This one, on the other hand, is a high end version that does the job great. It wasn't photographed that day so I figured a link would suffice. Cable is in pristine condition, always protected with a wall cable cover.
